Bringing communities closer together that is just what we did for the Latvian community here in Luxembourg. Foundry had the privilege to host The Luxembourg-Latvia Association for a discussion on financial market reforms in Latvia, with main topics on anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing issues within the Latvian Professionals Forum.

The event was the perfect opportunity for Latvian people in and around Luxembourg to meet, to share their knowledge, to listen to others' experiences, and to establish lasting and mutually enriching cooperation with professionals in Latvia. Exactly what Foundry stands for.

The Latvian Professionals Forum organized this event with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia. Leading experts from the financial and banking industry, public administration and policy-making bodies in both countries -Latvia and Luxembourg- were present. Mikhail Kozlov, Member of the European Court of Auditors, moderated this discussion.

Thanks to Līga Pleikšne and Marija Fadula for taking the initiative.

Foundry is looking forward to this association and hosting many more Latvian discussion forums in the future.
